We are proud to introduce Sesugh Peter Ubwa, as the newly appointed President of Sweepstakes University. With a profound dedication to excellence and a robust background in business leadership, Mr. Ubwa brings a wealth of experience and vision to our institution.
Mr. Ubwa is a distinguished alumnus of Cornerstone University, where he earned two Master of Business Administration degrees—one in Organizational Leadership (2023) and another in Global Business (2019). His academic journey began at Calvin College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing with a minor in Accounting in 2016. His commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his impressive GPAs, underscoring his strong foundation in business principles and leadership.
Mr. Ubwa's career spans various roles that highlight his versatility and expertise in both sales and financial management. Most recently, he served as a Senior Account Manager at Nationwide Software Solutions, where he demonstrated his ability to drive growth and manage customer support operations. His strategic vision and leadership skills have been pivotal in enhancing the company’s market presence through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
Prior to this role, Mr. Ubwa was the Marketing & Finance Director at Fare Gadgets LLC, where his efforts in advertising and operational management led to substantial revenue growth. His entrepreneurial spirit was further evident during his tenure as a Senior Sales Representative at Grand Apps LLC, where he played a crucial role in business development and led a junior sales team to significant success.
His earlier experiences include a role as a Financial Representative and Intern Team Leader at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he excelled in client financial analysis and insurance sales, earning notable accolades for his performance. Additionally, Mr. Ubwa contributed to the operations and media production efforts at Pleasure Travels Motor Company Limited in Nigeria, showcasing his global business acumen.
As President, Mr. Ubwa is committed to fostering an environment of academic excellence and operational efficiency at Sweepstakes University. He envisions leveraging his extensive background in business and leadership to enhance the university's educational offerings, support faculty and student development, and strengthen community engagement.
